Today I want to showcase some of the old concepts for Aubta and talk about them! Aubta was originally a lore concept on Flight Rising. What if the early dragons went to another continent and evolved to look different? You can see that very clearly below, with the subject being called an "Obelisk example." You can also tell I clearly could not draw any reptile-like details-- I still can't. Luckily Upoaw aren't reptiles anymore. I found the Flight Rising aspect of Aubta to be very weak so I stripped it from all of the lore, giving me more freedom to do whatever I want and possibly publish in the future!

Something I find pretty intereseting is how I subconciously kept the same type of clothing. Drapes were a big part of the on-sight Flight Rising apparel I had for my characters, so that makes sense. But the jewelry was never really something I heavily focused on between early Aubta and now. That drawing of them on all fours is absolutely horrifying. The social status horn-size thing kinda transfered over to modern Aubta... It's just neck size, now.

This old map is SO bad. I'm so, SO glad it's gone. Holy shit. Nothing else to say but how much I hate it.
